Demo Version - FTP Auto Load Method
1. Print this page.
2. Click on "Download Demo". (Note which directory the file is copied to.)
3. After the file has been downloaded, go to the
directory it was copied to, type
HLPDEMO.EXE, and press
enter. This will unzip the files that you downloaded.
4. From that same directory type 'FAST4A sysname'
and press enter. (Without the
single quotes. Replace
sysname with the name of your AS/400 or iSeries system,
or its IP address.)
When the program that runs
is almost over it will ask you to press enter or escape
to continue. Press
enter.
5. That's it. Now anyone who has FASTBREED
on their library list can use the
Help Desk Sysem by keying
in the command 'HELPDESK'.
** This method creates a temporary user profile on your
AS/400, sends the demo files
up to it using ftp, and
then moves the objects out of their savefiles and onto your
system using the 'rmtcmd'.
Afterwards both the savefiles and temporary user profile
are deleted.
